ASN is an approved provider of elective credits for Tallgrass Institute students.
Approved Areas of Concentration are posted on this page as groupings of related courses. These groupings include case studies, which are required by Tallgrass for demonstrated application and skill development to successfully qualify for credit transfer. Each grouping fulfills a transfer of 20 Learning Units to Tallgrass Institute.
Individual courses listed here, or in the full ASN catalog, will not be eligible for transfer to Tallgrass without being included in an Area of Concentration, and followed by completion of the related case studies as noted below.
Any individual course remains fully available to all interested for both personal and professional development, even if transfer credit is not eligible to complete learning units for Tallgrass Institute.

Areas of Concentration ::
ASN offers concentrated programs for Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute students that meet Tallgrass credit hour requirements. Each Area of Concentration includes course work, plus one or two case study modules. Students will learn the subject's theory, build their skills with hands on application, and receive private mentoring/coaching from ASN's expert faculty.
Tallgrass students may study in one or more Areas of Concentration, which include:
- Animal Communication
- Shamanic Animal Healing
- Energetic Balancing
- Animal Reiki
Each Area of Concentration must be fully completed to successfully qualify for credit transfer. Each grouping fulfills a transfer of 20 Learning Units to Tallgrass Institute.

Students register and pay for each class individually. To secure your seat in the entire sequence, we recommend that you register for all the classes you want as far in advance as possible.
For each of the series noted below, the courses are to be taken in sequence as they are listed unless otherwise noted. BM101 (Ethics) maybe taken earlier in the sequence than where it is noted.

(Animal Reiki: Please note that the Level 3 in-person attunement class is not part of this Animal Reiki area of concentration for Tallgrass ... it was not necessary to meet the 20 Learning Unit guideline. However, the Level 3 case study grouping noted above is selected from our full program of study, and included here to create this course grouping for approved transfer credit to Tallgrass Institute. The Animal Reiki area of concentration for Tallgrass does fulfill the prerequisites for participants to continue ahead and attend the Level 3 in-person course, and receive the Reiki Master practitioner attunement. Level 3 in-person class options are course codes AR302 and AR303.)
