In-person, 2 days (March 13 & 14, 2010 in Barrington, IL). During the Basic experiential workshop, participants are introduced to core shamanism, the universal and near-universal basic methods of the shaman to enter nonordinary reality for problem solving and healing. In-person, 2 days (April 10 & 11, 2010 in Algonquin, IL). Experience where aloha comes from and to where it flows. By using family constellations and other techniques, we will find the source of aloha and use it to heal ourselves and the ohana (family soul). A LIVE Workshop with Tom Cowan: Embracing Sovereignty ~ A Workshop in Celtic Shamanism ::

In-person, 2 days. (August 7 & 8, 2010 in Mundelein, IL). Shamanism is an earth-based spirituality in which spirits of the land—animals, plants, elementals, ancestors, faeries—play dominant roles as teachers, guides, and guardians. In Celtic traditions the Spirit of the Land Herself is named Sovereignty. She is the Goddess of the Land, the foundation for all moral and political authority.  In this workshop we explore Sovereignty’s role as the center of the Irish “medicine” or spirit wheel.  We will better understand our responsibility to correct the imbalances in our lives, and in the world we live in.  Prerequisite: Participants must have shamanic skills to work with power animals and journey into non-ordinary reality. In-person, 2 days (September 18 & 19, 2010 in Algonquin, IL). Explore the overlapping interface of our energetic bonds.  Heal others by healing yourself.  Explore the principles of co-creation and understand how and why it manifests in ourselves and our close relations.  Prerequisite:   Participants must have shamanic skills to work with power animals and journey into non-ordinary reality. In this workshop, we will use shamanic techniques to delve into the mysteries of the planets and their influences on our lives. By following the clues the ancient Hawaiians left behind, we will discover how to work with the spirits that are the planets and harness their power to make what we truly want come true.
