ASN Programs of Study ::

ASN's in-depth study programs offer you the knowledge and hands-on skills to prepare you to develop or expand your holistic animal business or your personal expertise. Each program consists of sequenced courses, case study work and active student support that blends classroom, hands-on practice and professional development to help you succeed.

Animal Spirit Network currently offers four unique Programs of Study for personal or professional development:

• Animal Communication
• Animal Reiki
• Shamanic Animal Healing
• Animal Loss & Grief Support

Certificate of Completion

Each Program of Study offers a Certificate of Completion to students who fulfill all program requirements. Requirements include Specialty Courses, Core Courses, and Case Studies/Capstone Lessons.

Our educational approach provides solid guidance with a clear structure, and yet allows for flexibility, variety, and inspired learning! If you are already working professionally, or are enrolled in other programs, our open and flexible architecture will allow you to easily fit our classes into your busy life.

There are 3 Requirement Sections for each Program of Study:

1. Specialty Courses

These classes are where you will experience focused learning about your program topic. Your instructor will guide you step-by-step along the way, ensuring you have a solid foundation as you move up through the levels.

These Specialty Courses must be taken in sequence according to levels, beginning with Level 1. Each course level is easily identifiable by following the class number codes. Level 1 courses are “100 number series”, Level 2 courses are “200 number series”, etc, up through all the available levels for each program of study.

These courses are offered as Teleclasses, LIVE Workshops, and select Webinars. Refer to the individual program pages for details and options.

2. Core Courses

The Core Courses are included in the programs of study to help round out your education and bring you to a level of professional competency. The instructors of the core courses are well-established professionals and teachers in their field of expertise.

Legal, Professional and Ethical guidance, as well as species specific and complementary modality classes, are part of this section. These courses offer you the education and confidence to build your successful healing arts business.

These courses are offered as either On Demand classes or Teleclasses.

You may take these classes at any time during your study program, in any order that suits your schedule – they do not need to follow the organized Level sequence of your program Specialty Courses*.

* Certain Core Courses must be taken prior to starting Level 3 or Level 4 classes, please refer to individual Programs of Study pages for full details.

If you enroll in more than one Program of Study, taking the Core Courses only once will fulfill your Certificate of Completion requirements for all enrolled programs.

3. Case Studies / Capstone Lessons

Your education moves to deeper levels when you begin the process of integration through experience by completing the required case studies or capstone lessons. Each program has unique requirements for this section, so please refer to the individual Program of Study page for full details.

As a Program student, you are fully supported during this process with private mentoring, coaching and personal review by the program instructor… as well as participation in a student email support group that is instructor facilitated.

If you are simultaneously enrolled in two Programs of Study, you may be able to combine certain case studies. Discuss this option in advance with your ASN case study mentors.

These required classes are offered as independent study and mentoring sessions that are available upon request as each student is ready for mentoring and review.

There are 3 additional Educational and Support Options for program students:

1. Elective Courses

Each Program of Study offers a list of suggested Electives that are a wonderful addition to the course requirements. These classes have been carefully selected by ASN to facilitate a solid foundation that will allow each student to build their healing arts practice.

Refer to each individual Program of Study page for the list of recommended electives.

These classes are offered as On Demand, Teleclasses, and Live Workshops.

2. Mastery Hour teleconferences

As part of ASN’s mission to fully support the educational and personal development process of students, instructor-led Mastery Hour teleconferences are offered regularly through the Animal Spirit Cafe.

The Mastery Hour gatherings are opportunities for students, professionals, and like-minded animal lovers to come together and discuss integrating concepts learned into daily living with animals and nature. Each call will present at least two relevant educational topics and/or case examples for discussion, and will support you in staying active with your skill development, practice and case study work. These gatherings are offered either as On Demand classes or live Teleclasses.

3. Online Forums

Also part of the Animal Spirit Cafe, you can enjoy unlimited access to authentic dialogue with students and instructors…share common goals, expand awareness to help animals in your life or pursue an animal care career. Learn and share in one or all of the forums — you are sure to find one that is focused in your area of interest!
