Tresa has been living and working with animals all her life. Growing up in rural Kentucky, animals quickly became her main focus in life and served as best friends, confidants and provided a deep connection to the natural world. For over 10 years, Tresa has been using holistic methods to treat her animal family of dogs & cats. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 5 years including 3 holistic practices. Currently focusing on a private healing practice, Tresa uses aromatherapy, Reiki, flower essences, intutive communication and other Earth energies to assist animals in performance events, to help animals and people recover from illness and injury, to aid in adjusting rescue animals to new homes, and to compliment the spiritual journey we are taking with our animals by our side. Tresa became a Reiki Master in 2006 and completed The Holistic Animal Workshop, a year-long, hands-on program facilitated by Dancing Hearts Holistic Training. In 2008, she completed the Raindrop Technique training offered by CARE (Center for Aromatherapy Research & Education). Tresa is a regular staff member for Camp Dogwood, on the faculty of the Animal Spirit Network, and holds various workshops throughout the area. Tresa has studied animal-related topics under Jen (Crippen) Springer, Carol Schultz, Penelope Smith, The Healing Oasis, Carla Meeske, Cherie Ross, Dr. Laurie McCauley, Pam Reid, Linda Epstein, Nancy Gouch, Kathy Kawalec, and Dr. Karen Shaw Becker. Performing in flyball, herding and agility throughout the Midwest, Tresa has a special working knowledge for the performance dog and the common issues that affect them and their human companions. Tresa believes that fostering a trusting partnership, along with a natural diet and holistic health practices, enhances our animal companions’ lives and maintains good health. Drawing from her deep connection to animals and her intuitive understanding of essential oils, Tresa combines these talents to address physical, mental and spiritual issues in animals. She has worked closely with Jen (Crippen) Springer to advance her knowledge of therapeutic grade essential oils. Tresa currently lives on a beautiful 8 acre hobby farm in southeastern Wisconsin. She shares her home with her husband, dogs, cats, an ever growing amount of ducks, “The Ladies” – beautiful Barred Plymouth Rock chickens, Lucille, sheep, and a host of animal spirit guides and visitors. Tresa is dedicated to her lifetime passion of helping bring harmony, peace & understanding to your life and to the animals who share it. Contact Information:
