Karen Daughtry and Darlene Nelson are faculty members at Infinity Foundation in Highland Park, Illinois. As Reiki Master Teachers, Karen and Darlene believe that teaching energy work to children will help to create a world where people treat each other with compassion and respect. Karen and Darlene are dedicated to helping children become empowered by learning how to use energy for their own self-comfort and self-care, which formed the inspiration for the My Reiki Tool Kit book and class.

Karen Daughtry has been exploring and practicing energy work for over 15 years. She is a Reiki Master Teacher, a wellness educator, and teacher of Everyday Aromatherapy© with essential oils.

Among the various energetic healing modalities incorporated into Karen’s practice are Healing Touch, Reiki, Energetic Transformations, Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Touch, Reconnective Healing ® and The Reconnection ®, Quantum Touch, as well as Native American Shamanic healing, in honor of Karen's Cherokee heritage. Because her work is a combination of several disciplines, the name of her energy business is Karenergy®.

Her background as an Emergency Medical Technician and wellness facilitator integrates her energy work with down-to-earth, practical knowledge of the physical body.
