Dr. Linda Ehlers, DC, V.O.M.

Dr. Linda L. Ehlers was elected to the presidency of the Illinois Alliance for Animal Owners Rights in 2007.  She had previously served on the Advisory Board since the IAAOR’s inception in 2003.  She has represented the IAAOR to national organizations, speaking about the lobbying efforts needed to retain practice rights for the non-veterinary practitioners. 

VOM (Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation) is a healing technology that locates areas of the animal's nervous system that have fallen out of communication, re-establishes neuronal communication which induces healing. Dr. Ehlers works with private owners, plus two veterinary clinics in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.  She has presented lectures on holistic animal care at the South Suburban College, as well as various local organizations.  She works primarily on dogs and horses. 

Dr. Linda is a life long animal owner.  She began showing horses in 1985.  She has owned and shown Morgans, Saddlebreds, and only recently retired her Andalusian mare.  When her scheduled allowed she owned and showed Salukis.  “My time is so involved in my Chiropractic and animal practice that I am down to two cats and three litter boxes which is good for now.”
