SB102 - Fundamentals of Canine Behavior ::

The focus of this teleclass will be to introduce participants to the basic fundamentals of canine behavior. Material will include Understanding Canine Behavior: The Alpha Misconception, Understanding Canine Aggression and Fear, and Introduction to Calming Signals. Participants will learn how dogs interact and what causes aggression and fear, the leading behavior problems in canine companions today.

The first of the two teleclasses will build a solid ground by understanding canine behavior. The second teleclass will focus on developing a successful behavior modification program based on the understanding of what rewards consists of from a canine point of view, management tools and how to implement them into the household, conditioning behaviors with a cue, and then how they all work together.
