MS115 - Introduction to Coaching Skills for Animal Healing Arts Professionals ::
Enhance your practice, empower your clients, and expand your skills by learning when and how to use interspecies life coaching in your profession.
Coaching is both an art and a science that enables you to better assist your clients toward healing by allowing you to facilitate the information flow.
- Understand the difference between consulting, coaching, mentoring, and counseling.
- Learn "triggers" to implement coaching.
- Gain awareness of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and how to "reframe" information to assist the person.
- Know when to refer a client to another professional for assistance.
- Feel more connected to your clients by understanding consciousness.
Module I - The Role in Coaching Consciousness: Belief Systems, Intention, Whole-Systems-Thinking
Quickly learn how to determine the driving factors behind an animal communication consultation. Understand your role as a coach, and "when" and "if" it is appropriate. Learn to listen for "triggers" that may indicate deeper issues. Practice and discuss how to be a great listener and ask powerful questions to assist the client. Better understand the relationships between people and their animals and how to interpret "projection" and reflective issues in animals and people. Establish "rapport" and connect to the whole system. Understand how belief systems drive intention and results.
Module II - A Coaching Communicator: Communication Styles, NLP, Brain Wave Frequencies
Understand the various types of communication styles for listening and speaking, both verbal and non-verbal. Discussion and examples of various ways to shift your own communication styles to match the client. Understand how various brain waves change perception and how to shift frequencies to access other information. Discuss examples and practice.
Module III - Integrating Coaching & Consciousness for Real World Situations: Groundedness, Energetic Interference & Protection, Ethics, Potential Road Blocks
Group should be practicing and sharing. This class will deal with the issues not commonly covered, but that often come up in Animal Communication work. We will use this time for mentor questions and answers, exercises, and general discussions.
Continuing Connections - E-mail Group / Online Forum
Those participating in this course either LIVE or On Demand will be included in an ongoing E-mail Group / Online Forum to provide continued opportunities for connection, partnered coaching practice sessions, and group discussions. Optional monthly teleconferences are being added (course code MS215) to cover additional topics and materials in the months ahead based on facets that are arising with global transitions, and the related experiences of course participants who are supporting clients through these significant shifts.
This course is available on-demand, and includes a full class audio recording and the course material handout. For students taking this course as part of an ASN Program of Study, and if you are working toward a Certificate of Completion, you are to complete the fieldwork assignment for this course and have it reviewed. You do not need to complete the fieldwork assignment if you are not planning to earn a Certificate of Completion from an ASN Program of Study. The Fieldwork must also be submitted if you are transferring the learning units from this ASN class to another institution.
