HL106 - Nutrition Education Series for Companion Animals - Healing Foods for Cancer & Heart Disease ::

In this class, Dr. Mayer will provide an overview on the definition and system dynamics of both cancer and heart disease. Supplements / nutraceuticals will be reviewed and recommended to support and tonify affected systems of the body, and to assist the body to heal itself.  Food ingredients to include or avoid will be addressed.  Insights on Traditional Chinese Medicine and the energetics of food will be incorporated.

For students taking this course as part of an ASN Program of Study, and if you are working toward a Certificate of Completion, you are to complete the fieldwork assignment for this course and have it reviewed.
