More About Pam..Web Development is a passion for Pam Riesmeyer. It's her second career, after a successful 23 year run as a radio news anchor/reporter that took her to Chattanooga, Tennessee, Indianapolis, Boston and finally Chicago. It was at WMAQ radio in Chicago, where she had her first taste of life on the Internet – gaining access to trial transcripts while anchoring the coverage of the OJ Simpson trial in 1995 and broadcasting the Democratic National Convention online in 1996. When WMAQ closed its doors, Pam began teaching classes in basic computing at Purdue University Calumet, while pursuing an education in Web design and development and launching her Wings of Mercury Web Designs business. She obtained a Post-Baccalaureate certificate from PUC in 2005 and continues to consult for PUC on Web development projects. Pam works with small and medium businesses, helping them determine how a Web site will fit into their overall marketing strategy. As a successful business woman, an intuitive well versed in the healing arts, and a web specialist, Pam weaves her wisdom into successful websites for healing arts professionals. Pam provides a wide variety of services, developing solutions that focus on current Web standards, easy site maintenance, and client satisfaction. She enjoys working with Internet novices, finding ways to cut through the “geek-speak” and helping them understand the mysteries of the Web. And she enjoys working with clients who are more Internet savvy and interested in pushing the boundaries of what the Web can do. When she's not working with clients, or building sites, or playing with or reading about new technology and Web applications, Pam enjoys time with her two dogs, Isaac and Isabella, and her two nephews, Andrew and Ben.
