Kathleen Prasad

Kathleen Prasad is a Reiki Master Teacher and Founder and Director of Animal Reiki Source. She is a life-long animal lover, and an educator for fifteen years, during that time designing curriculum and community projects in animal kindness for her students.

Kathleen co-authored the book Animal Reiki: Using Energy to Heal the Animals in Your Life, authored the first code of ethics for the profession, The Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics, and most recently co-authored the book The Animal Reiki Handbook. The Animal Reiki Handbook was written in conjunction with members of SARA: Shelter Animal Reiki Association, which Kathleen co-founded to support the growing number of Reiki Practitioners who wish to establish programs in their local shelters.
