Mary Baumstark has been working with animals since 1989. She has a strong grounding in many issues of trauma, past abuse, injury, illness, and behavioral problems through her intensive work with hundreds of shelter animals and companion animals. With training in behavior, Healing Touch, energy work, Chinese Energetic Medicine, Tellington TTouch, bodywork, flower essence therapy, and shamanism, Mary has the tools needed to assist animals to health and wholeness.
"Over the past 18 years, I have been presented with many animal teachers, animals whose symptoms or behavior couldn't be resolved through traditional means. These animals pushed me to find solutions to assist in bringing them back to health and wellbeing. The healing modalities I now use are the direct result of my search to support these animals. Along the way, I realized that through the animal's own healing process, they wanted to facilitate the spiritual growth of their human companions. So my work has now expanded to include in tandem processes of healing for both the animals and their people".
